Day 7 - Say goodbye to your Home Stay family and continue to Paris. Enjoy a guided exploration of one of the most important art collections in the world, the famous Musée du Louvre. Since it would take at least three weeks to see all the wonderful treasures held inside, you will visit only the principal parts of the museum—including a look at Leonardo’s masterpiece, Mona Lisa! This evening climb aboard your overnight train, and continue your travels to Italy! Au revoir La France!

Day 6 - Today will be the last full day you spend with your Home Stay family. Be sure to write a thank you note and leave it with your hosts, or mail it to them right away.

Day 5 - Spend the day with your Home Stay family, learn about French home life and meet the locals. This is your opportunity to make lifelong friends!

Be sure to bring pictures of friends and family. Your host family will enjoy seeing them.

Day 4 - Start your day with a French language course, where you will learn a few phrases in preparation for your Home Stay. In the afternoon, explore the magnificent Château de Versailles. Built during the reign of Louis XIV, the Sun King, it was the seat of the royal court from 1682 to 1789, when the French Revolution put an end to the monarchy. In the evening, travel to your Home Stay location, where you will be welcomed into your new “home”!

Day 3 - Set out with your French guide for an orientation of the city Ernest Hemingway called “a moveable feast,” because “wherever you go for the rest of your life, Paris stays with you”. Get to know the famous Latin Quarter, so called because before the Revolution, students and professors in this area only spoke Latin. Notre Dame Cathedral took two centuries to complete. Point Zéro, the spot from which all road distances are measured in France, is found in the courtyard in front of Notre Dame. In the afternoon, visit the historic Montmartre area, a haven for artists and writers before WWI. Marvel at the white Basilique du Sacré Coeur. Did you know that the dome is the second highest point in Paris? Take some time to discover this area’s hidden treasures in small groups.

Day 2 - Bonjour et Bienvenue en France! Upon arrival in Paris, known as the “City of Light,” your People to People delegation manager and coach driver will greet you. For a dazzling impression of Paris, the best place to go is up! Take the elevator to the top of the Eiffel Tower (899 feet), built for the 1889 World’s Fair to commemorate the French Revolution. This evening, take the opportunity to journal your first impressions of France.

I spend most of my time on the internet on a site called Fanfiction.net or sites like it. Fanfiction is stories about copyrighted things such as Harry Potter, that are written by fans. This website has stories from books, TV shows, Movies, Comics, Games, Plays, Anime/Manga, and Cartoons. I really enjoy reading about what people think should happen. Some people take it more seriously than others. Some stories are silly or serious there are categories and you can search particular stories. I am working on a story about Harry Potter and Charmed. I will put a link here True when I start posting it.

I'm Back

But I was never really gone, I was just lazy and busy. School ended on Friday and I start training for the Front Desk at Aspen Medical Care tomorrow. I also leave for Europe on the 24th of June. I have saved up alot of money for this trip and with luck I will have enough when I get back to buy an 80GB Video iPod. I finished my Freshman year of high school and I didn't flunk out, so that's good. I had a good year. I made some new friends and I reconnected with some old ones. I am also going to Orlando and down the Grand Canyon, next summer. That's all for now. Hopefully I will have more to talk about after my first day working on the Front Desk.
